These are the same Microfilm cards that were used in your John Deere Dealership. These are cards MPC2281 1-2 dated Jan 1989. They contain the same information you would find in a parts catalog manual for this machine, like exploded views of parts, parts relationships and part numbers. You do need a reader to view the films!
